The Sound of Silence

The sound of silence in my home is pretty alarming. If I can't hear Jamison then I can almost bet that he's getting into something he's not suppose to. My instincts were right the other night when I went in the guest bedroom to find that had dumped the entire box of carpet deodorizer out all over the bed!

The Many Faces of Mike

Christmas

This year we spent Christmas in Oregon with Mike's parents and two brothers, Seth and Adam. We had such a wonderful time! It was so nice to go somewhere that felt like Christmas. We have been in the middle of a huge mess moving into our new home (pictures coming soon). We didn't even have a chance to get out our Christmas decorations or go get a tree to decorate. Mom D had a small tree for Jamison to decorate, which was fun to do. Once he got all of the ornaments on the tree he took half of them off to throw around the room. They had Santa come for a visit since Jamison hadn't had a chance to see him yet this year. He wasn't too sure about him but knew that he had a candy cane so he sat there until he got it. It felt so good to sit back and relax and enjoy the company of our family. Thanks Mom, Dad, Seth, and Adam for making our Christmas special!

Nursery

Sunday was Jamison's first day of Nursery at church! Mike and I walked him up to the room and then I had to leave to go teach Primary. Jamison was screaming and didn't want to go in to play. Mike stayed there with him for the first hour and then snuck out during snacktime. They said that he was fine after that. When I picked him up after church he showed me the picture he drew, he was so proud of it!

All Grown Up

The other night Mike and I were getting things prepared for our ward Christmas party and Jamison was watching a movie on the couch. When I looked over I was completely shocked to find that he had fallen asleep. I'm sure most of you are wondering what the big deal is. Jamison is a very cuddly boy and he has NEVER fallen asleep on his own. He always has to have someone right next to him. My little boy is all grown up!

Park City

When Mike flew back to Utah the three of us went up to Park City to spend some time together. This was our first little vacation that we've had as a family, it was really relaxing and fun. A bunch of our friends came up to visit one night which was great. We hadn't seen some of them in a really long time. We have so many wonderful friends in Utah and wish we could be closer to see them more often. We love you guys!

Fun with Family in Utah

We just returned home after spending three weeks in Utah with family! Mike drove us out there and we attended the temple with my sister, Danica, who just left on her mission. He was able to be there for her farewell before he flew back home for work. Jamison and I helped her finish her last minute shopping and spent some quality time with her before she left. It was so much fun!
