Memorial Day Weekend

For Memorial Day weekend we went to Oregon to visit Mom and Dad D. It was so nice to just hang out and relax! Mike and I actually got to take a nap together while Jamison played with Grandma and Grandpa, a first for us! On Monday, Mike helped fix a few things around the house and Jamison tagged along as his little helper. We had a really fun weekend, thanks Mom and Dad!

Utah Trip

We had a great time visiting all the family in Utah this past week! But as usual, a week is never enough time. I found myself very sad when it was time to go home.

At the B's we had fun making Italian food and sharing it with Jamison's grandparents, aunts, and great-grandparents. Jamison had a blast at my aunt's house where he was able to ride the horse with Mike. We also attended Lauren, Audrey, and McKenna's ice skating practice early one morning. It was freezing but worth it, the girlies are so graceful on the ice!

At the Vacher's we barbequed and played football. Jamison enjoyed helping feed the animals. We went to the Hogle Zoo and Jamison was mesmerized by all of the animals! Afterwards we went to Kayden's baseball practice, he is a great pitcher! We were also able to see Nikota's dance concert, she is an amazing dancer!

All of the D family was in town for Henry's blessing so we got to meet him for the first time. It was fun to get together with all of them. Jamison enjoyed playing with his cousin Jack. On our way home from Utah we stopped in Nevada to visit Jamison's great-grandma Y who had never met him. She sent us home with some yummy honey butter!

We are so happy that we were able to go out and visit everyone! We love you all and already miss you!!

Jamison Loves Cake!

So here are a couple of Jamison's birthday pictures. I know they are a little late, but we've been in Utah visiting family. He absolutely loved his birthday cake! He put one finger in the frosting to feel it then tasted a little bit. Once he tasted it he dove right in. The cutest part was when he leaned over and gave me a kiss when he was covered in frosting!

Best Year Yet!

This past year has been the most amazing of our lifetime! Sharing our lives with Jamison has been such a wonderful blessing. We are so grateful to our Heavenly Father for sending us such an angel. We love you Jamison!

Walking

Jamison has been walking around pretty well for about two weeks now. I am just now getting around to putting it on the blog. It is amazing to me how fast he grows! Please excuse the dim lighting, messy house, and barking dogs in the background!

Temple Picnic

After the Sunday afternoon session of General Conference we packed a picnic lunch and went to the temple grounds to enjoy it. This was Jamison's first trip to the temple. He was mesmerized by the water fountain that is there. There was such a sweet spirit that was felt even on the grounds of the temple. I was overcome with thanks to my Heavenly Father that we are an eternal family. I can't imagine a life that doesn't include Mike and Jamison. We had such a great time and hope to make this one of our family traditions!
